Like Heaven, like Hell,
They’re one in the same,
In love I fell, Your heart to claim,
You were my Heaven, You were my Hell,
You were my freedom, You were my cell,
You were the reason, To get out of bed,
You were the thoughts, Stuck in my head,
You were my only excuse to cry,
You were the reason I’d never die,
And were the nightmare haunting my sleep,
You were the dream I wished to keep,
You were the wound that cut so deep,
You were the memory that made me weep,
You were the flames that burnt my heart,
You were the canvas of beautiful art,
You were the storm freezing my skin,
You were the ocean splashing within,
You were the clouds stuck in the sky,
You were my wings to soar and fly,
You were the mountains blocking my rain,
You were the medicine for all my pain,
Like Heaven, like Hell,
I give you my word,
You are my angel of love, assured,
You are my misty, ocean breeze,
You are my sparkling, glistening seas,
And you are the ink,
Black as night,
When words I think,
Begin to write,
The words would say,
In time, wounds heal,
But pain is real,
For you, I feel,
You are my Heaven, you are my Hell,
Goodbye my sweet love,
Farewell . . .farewell.
